We Celebrate God!

Sovereign Way is a church, in Hesperia, dedicated to the glory of the one true God. As the church, we are God’s “called out ones,” called to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all creation. This mission begins in our local community and extends to all the nations of the earth, for God is saving people from every nation, tribe, and tongue. This is the mission of the church, and Sovereign Way is fully dedicated to this calling.

We are the body of Christ doing the work of Christ. As His church, we are a family of believers who love one another. Additionally, we are people dedicated to the Word of God (the Bible), and therefore we are dedicated to the faithful preaching of the Word. Likewise, we are dedicated to discipleship, in which we learn to grow in Christ-likeness. Thus, we are a Bible-centered church. Simply put, we are biblical people, doing biblical things, in the biblical way. We invite you to come and see this in action.

Who’s Your One?

As believers, we all know people who are far from God—people we pray for; people with whom we greatly desire to share the gospel. Sometimes it is daunting when we consider the number of people we know in this condition. How are we going to get the gospel to them all? The answer is one at a time. We can at least start with one. That’s the intention behind Who’s Your One. We believe God’s people don’t merely need another method for evangelism— what they need is a white-hot passion to see people who are far from God experience the new life He offers through Jesus Christ.

Our church prioritizes personal ownership of the Great Commission as we each intentionally pursue one person with the hope of the gospel. Of course, no one is limited to evangelizing only one person. But if everyone in the church at least pursued one soul, it would make a huge difference for the advance of the kingdom. We are all called to Christ’s mission, but the mission is so vast and complex, we lose confidence in our ability to make a difference. While we can’t do everything, we can do something. We can all take responsibility for at least one person in the High Desert. With God’s power and the work of His Spirit, each of our ones can add up to make a significant impact for God’s kingdom.
